A custom version of the Android OS called Blur is being worked on by Motorola, whose upcoming Android phone was recently leaked

Motorola is working on its own new version of the Android OS, currently going under the name Blur.
It’s focused on bringing the web to your phone, featuring a number of elements that’ll be updated almost constantly over the Internet. So, you can expect to have the option to put Facebook, Twitter and email widgets on your Android-powered Motorola’s home screen.
It all sounds very similar to HTC’s latest forays into Android with the HTC Hero, which lets you implement similar widgets. However, it’s good to see another major manufacturer dipping its toes into Android waters, which are currently ruled by a relatively small number of HTC handsets, even if we did love both the HTC Hero and Magic.
Just recently we saw pictures of an Android-powered Motorola phone in the works, so Blur could well be intended for the release of this large-screened device.
