Motorola W562 outed in Asia

Motorola has announced a music-centric handset for the Asian market called the W562
Published on Aug 6, 2009
A new candybar phone has popped up on Motorola's official Chinese website with the moniker of the W562.
The mobile bears a passing resemblance to a Nokia 5800 (albeit without the touchscreen) and is similarly music-orientated, with dedicated control buttons on the exterior.
The W562 looks to be a low-mid range handset, offering up a 2-megapixel camera, a 2.4-inch display, and CDMA connectivity on China Telecom's network.
Other particulars of the W562 include Bluetooth 2.0, a WAP browser, and a mere 64MB of internal memory – thankfully it also supports memory cards up to 4GB for storing your music.
We wouldn't normally expect a China-bound handset to make it to our shores, but it's also made an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG website with expected availability listed as all regions, excluding Africa.
As is often the case with new handset announcements, Motorola is keeping mum on pricing details for now.
