Tesco Mobile has launched the UK's first unlimited SIM-only contract

Tesco Mobile has introduced a new tariff that offers unlimited internet, calls and texts for a set monthly fee.

The new tariff is being touted by the supermarket giant as “credit crunch beating” and offers unlimited usage for just £30 per month.

The deal is only available on SIM-only contracts, so don't expect a shiny new handset to be thrown into the mix, but what you do get is as many calls and texts as you like, plus unlimited browsing.

As with most unlimited tariffs, Tesco Mobile has implemented a fair use policy, although with this particular deal you can spend up to £500 on minutes, texts and browsing before being stung.
