Details of a new rugged Nokia handset known as the 3720 Classic have been leaked
Published on Jul 9, 2009
A new tough handset from Nokia, the 3720 Classic, seems to be on the horizon, seen in a series of virals showing the new handset being put through its paces.
The videos show the device being abused in a number of ways, including being submerged in a pint, dunked in a pool, dropped from the top of a tall ladder, shot with a paintball gun and encased in jelly – so, your normal everyday usage then.
Until now details of the device have been unknown but Swedish mobile site DailyMobile.se is reporting that the device is called the 3720 Classic and will seemingly be resistant to water, dust and impact damage.
It is also reported that the handset will feature a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, microSD support, FM radio and torch functionality.
There's been no official word or confirmation of these rumours by Nokia's Espoo HQ, but we'll bring you the needful when we can.
