Nokia 3720 on the way

A picture of a Nokia device purportedly called the 3720 has been leaked online revealing that it may be Nokia's first IP-54 rated handset
The Nokia 3720 will come with a certified IP-54 rating

Nokia is finalising the necessaries on a rugged handset called the 3720 for launch later in the year.
The device popped up online on the Dutch site MobileCowboys.nl and while it isn't the first rugged Nokia to come out of Finland, it will be the first officially rated handset against dust and water.
It doesn't quite measure up to the Sonim S1 IP-67-rated handset that can take a full dunking and keep on trucking but if the leak (pardon the pun) is accurate e Nokia 3720 will be water-resistant.
If the handset stays true to its 3000-series roots the device will likely be a reasonably modest affair spec-wise aimed at emerging markets, there's no indication whether it will be running the S40 OS or even S60 Symbian operating system.
