Details of a new mid-range Symbian smartphone, the B5100, have been leaked. With a traditional candybar design, its looks are far from exotic, but offer an alternative from Samsung’s recent touchscreen-focused offerings.
The B5100 will feature a 3-megapixel camera with an LED flash, betraying the phone’s mid-range stature. However, it will boast WiFi connectivity alongside 3G for web browsing. Its feature list also includes GPS, although we’re not sure whether you can GPS tag photos taken with the phone as standard.
There are currently no details available on UK dates or prices, but it’s reported to be heading for Europe at €499.
