Nokia N97 available June 19th

Nokia has revealed that the N97 will be available from June 19th in the UK. It’ll be available for £499 SIM free from the Nokia online store.

It’s Nokia’s next flagship model, boasting a highly desirable feature set that includes a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a slide-out Qwerty keyboard. Arriving so soon after the launch of the Ovi Store, it’s also the first phone to feature the store’s app built-in.

While the Ovi Store’s already had its fair share of detractors, this app is said to make navigating the store much easier than doing do on the web.

The N-series has always proved hugely popular, but the N97 is arguably a little behind the times, at least in trend terms, featuring a resistive touchscreen rather than the finger-friendly capacitive kind. The Nokia N97 will be available in white and black finishes.
