Zune mobile to be shown at E3

Microsoft has hinted that the long-awaited Zune phone will be launched at E3 in June

One of Microsoft's Twitter pages has hinted that its long-awaited Zune phone will be launched at the E3 convention in LA next month (June).

Rumours suggest that the new handset is likely to be a mobile enabled Zune - after an interesting message was left by the Microsoft Office 2010 team's Twitter account.

It suggested that "June 2009 will be an important month for Zune lovers."

A later post then added, "New product launch, that's all I'm allowed to say. Hold off from buying an iPhone/Pre."

The phone is likely to run Microsoft's new mobile 6.5 in conjunction with their new Windows marketplace.

We will just have wait until 2nd June for the start of E3 to see whether these rumours become true.
