A dual-flip Samsung handset known as the Alias 2, AKA the U750 has launched on Verizon with an e-ink display.
The e-ink display shows a different keyboard depending on which way you open the dual-flip, i.e. on whether you're making a call or sending an SMS. Flipping it open in portrait will reveal a standard numeric keypad whereas opening it the other way will result in full Qwerty being displayed.
Aside of the e-ink display, the specs list shows a 2.6-inch QVGA screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and memory card expansion through use of a microSD card.
The U750 also comes with much of what we take as standard-fare nowadays such as Bluetooth, video camera capability and a music player. Naturally, the Verizon version also comes jam packed with the network's own V-apps.
If you want to get in on the action of the Alias 2's e-ink goodness then it'll cost you $79.99 and a 24 month commitment to Verizon.
