A new touchscreen Nokia phone has been spotted in the Star Trek film

A new touchscreen mobile phone from Nokia has been spotted in the new Star Trek film.
The unannounced phone has made a cameo appearance in J.J Abrahams new Star Trek movie which brought back memories of the Nokia 8110 which first appeared in blockbuster movie The Matrix.
The new Nokia pops up during a scene when a young James T Kirk is driving his father's prize corvette of cliff while being chased by Robocop-like police.
The handset is positoned in a car holder and seems to have a very simple user interface.
The phone features for only a few frames but leaves us wondering whether it is destined to market or whether it is just a concept phone.
With our eagle-eyed vision we managed to work out that it looks very similar to the iPhone.
Will it ever see the light of day? Who knows.
