The mobile tracking Google Latitude service has today seen two new apps that allow Latitude users to better share their geographical information

Users of geolocation software Google Latitude can now access two new apps that let users share their location with the general public.
The first of the additions is called the Public Location Badge and it allows, at the users behest, public posting of their current location on blogs and websites.
The embedded “badge” automatically updates location status as the user roams from city to city. Naturally, you still retain control over whether you use best available, city-level or manually entered location data.
The second feature being trialled is called Google Talk Location Status beta and it allows users to share their location directly from their mobile with all of the contacts in their Google Mail contacts list, rather than individually selected recipients.
If you were just about to bounce on over to the Google Latitude page to find out more then try not to get too despondent if you live outside of the US, it will be available outside of this region soon.
