Motorola W7 snapped online

A tri-colour as yet unseen budget Motorola handset marked as W7 has been spotted online

Pictures of a new Motorola slider handset called the W7 have been posted on the internet.

The sliding device comes in a white, yellow and black colour scheme and with an unusual six-button oblong d-pad as well as a 2-megapixel camera.

The display is QVGA, and if you were hoping that blistering 3G connectivity would make up for the low-tech approach thus far, then we're going to have to disappoint you.

The pictures were posted on Czech tech site Mobil.cz which also mentions that there are buttons on the handset for some kind of sport functions, but the specifics are unknown.

Given the uninspiring spec of this phone we're not holding our breath for much more than shortcuts to stopwatch functionality.
