Samsung's upcoming Windows Mobile phone, the Omnia Pro, is rumoured to pack in a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard

It is rumoured that Samsung’s upcoming Omnia Pro smartphone will feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The source for this tidbit is the Samsung HDblog.

In addition of the keyboard, the Omnia Pro will feature a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen plus a pair of traditional tactile softkeys. A Windows Mobile device, it’s said to feature version 6.1 of the Microsoft operating system, suggesting that it may be available before the new 6.5 software hits the virtual shelves. We wouldn’t be surprised if the handset switched over to the new version once it’s released.

The Omnia Pro will also bear a 5-megapixel camera and will utilise an AMOLED display. It is rumoured to be launching in Q4 this year, but we’ll keep you informed as soon as more concrete information becomes available.
