Nokia N-Gage mobile gaming service goes live
The N-Gage application is available to download now from the N-Gage website
Nokia's N-Gage mobile gaming platform finally goes live, bringing sophisticated games, multiplayer action, and interactivity to Nokia Nseries phones
Mobile gamers can at last download and play Nokia N-Gage games on their phones following the long-awaited launch of the full version of the advanced mobile gaming platform.
The revamped N-Gage mobile gaming service, which offers a sophisticated gaming experience with multiplayer and interactive elements, has gone live for owners of select Nseries multimedia mobiles - the N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95 and N95 8GB.
The N-Gage application is available to download now from the N-Gage website, although Nokia is making an official announcement about the launch on Monday.
The new N-Gage platform will enable users to download sophisticated games, get try-before-you buy demos of games, play with other N-Gagers, post high scores and interact with other gamers.
Nokia expects around 25-30 N-Gage games to be available by the middle of 2008, with more coming online throughout the year.
