Nokia has released the budget Supernova 7100 handset, a cheap and cheerful phone for £85 sim free

Nokia has released the Supernova 7100, a slider phone that's priced at just £85.
As you might imagine, the feature set isn't going to compete with flagship models at such an affordable price point. It does have a camera onboard, but it only packs-in 1.3 megapixels, which seems pretty puny these days.
It does have a few features that are key for the phone's demographic though- MP3 ringtone capability, an FM radio and a mini Opera browser for light web surfing. Although the screen is fairly small, the resolution is decent for a budget phone too, at 240x320.
Other than its price, £85 sim free, the Supernova 7100 tries to differentiate itself from the pack with a band of bright, metallic colour over the soft key area and back. This band comes in blue, pink and, for the more sobre look, metallic grey. You can buy the Nokia Supernova 7100 from Nokia's website.
