QuickOffice is available to download from the iTunes app store now.
QuickOffice for the iPhone comprises three products in one, Quicksheet, Quickword and QuickOffice Files.
As you can probably guess, Quicksheet allows you to view, edit and create Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Quickword allows you to create and edit Microsoft Word files, including cut and paste functionality, and also provides the user with useful features such as image scaling for better display and auto-save and restore options.
QuickOffice Files' main concern is with file management and transfer via remote access. Using QO Files allows users to remotely access their MobileMe iDisk account and transfer files from their desktops to their phones, once downloaded the files are on the handset, ready for offline viewing and editing.
There have been some complaints that the software is less stable than the price tag may lead you to assume but these are largely isolated. So if you've been waiting for a document suite for the iPhone and you'd like to check it out for yourself, you can do so over at the iTunes store where it's priced £11.99.
