Samsung has released a new mid-range, GPS-enabled phone, the Lucido

Published on Apr 17, 2009

Samsung released a new mid-range phone today, the Lucido.

The phone features a 5-megapixel camera, an AMOLED screen, a memory card slot that supports cards up to 8GB and GPS mapping using Google maps.

Unlike Samsung's new simlarly-pitched S8300, which was released a few weeks ago, the Lucido does not have a touchscreen. However, it competes well elsewhere in its feature list, which is a good thing considering the doom and gloom surrounding recenty released sales figures for mobile phone companies.

Featuring a thin candy-bar body that measures just 11.8mm, the Lucido is available now.
