T-Mobile is preparing to release the next phone in their Sidekick range, the Sidekick LX 2009

T-Mobile has officially announced that they will be releasing the next addition to their Sidekick line, the Sidekick LX 2009.
A memo, which was passed onto internet site Hiptop, details that 'T-Mobile is preparing to launch the thinnest Sidekick ever'. The rumour was confirmed by the launch of a website that features a countdown timer to the phones release.
T-Mobile's next Sidekick boasts many features, including a 3.2-megapixel camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, applications for social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace, and the ability to watch and download Youtube videos.
The Sidekick LX 2009 will also feature an enhanced swivel screen, promoted as being 'larger and sharper than any other Sidekick'.
The release is scheduled for May 13, so we'll keep you posted as developments appear.
