T-Mobile to use Google's Android platform for two new products in coming months
Published on Apr 6, 2009
Google's Android platform will be used by two new products to be released by T-Mobile.
The first of these new products is a home phone that utilises a docking station to recharge and sync data with the handset.
The second more elusive item will be a tablet PC. The only information as yet confirmed by a report by the New York Times is that the tablet will feature a 7-inch touch screen and will handle basic tasks like managing wireless devices in the home plus checking the weather.
Although details are sketchy at this time. We'll keep you posted as developments arise.
