More details of LG's transparent keypad-toting GD900 have surfaced

Standing out as an oddball entry in this year's Mobile Word Congress, back in February, the transparent keypad wielding LG GD900 has had some more light shed on - or perhaps through - it.
Full details of the device are going to be revealed on April 1st, as if the strange keypad alone wasn't enough to cause us to question the handset's legitimacy, but we already know some of the phone's core strengths.
It'll use a 3D cube-based interface, as seen on the LG Arena, which is controlled using both the Haptic-feedback keypad and the GD900's 3-inch touchscreen. The screen's multi-touch enabled too, giving an iPhone-like control over zooming in and out of web pages and images.
The 'Gesture Shortcut' feature also lets you customise control shortcuts based on shapes made with your finger, letters for instance. There's also a touch wheel designed to allow easy control over the media player.
The LG GD900 will be available from May.
