Samsung Betty Boop Announced
Samsung has announced the latest in its line of phones aimed at children, the Betty Boop

France's Bouygues Telecom has launched Samsung's latest phone targeted at children, called the Betty Boop.
The handset features GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequency standards, as well as a 65K colour display, a VGA camera and an MP3 music player and FM Radio. There is also the capability for additional storage space with a microSD memory card slot.
The mobile also comes with a Betty Boop pouch, as well as some other accessories that are also related to the animated character clearly aimed at little girls.
The sliding handset includes basic features while including the signature and picture of Betty Boop on both the front and back.
The 500mAh battery provides up to three hours of talk time, as well as up to 192 hours of standby time. The handset measures 87x44.5x18 mm and weighs 70g, and is already available for purchase in France.
The Betty Boop costs €129, although the Bouygues Telecom plans to offer it for €1 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement.
