Samsung has launched the Xplorer B2100, a new "rugged" mobile phone for costumers who enjoy the outdoor life.

Samsung has released details on the Xplorer B2100 rugged phone, designed for those who enjoy outdoor life.
The mobile phone, which according to Samsung is built to withstand "bumps, bangs, scrapes, scuffs, and even dust and water", incorporates outdoor features, robust durability and comfortable grip.
The Xplorer can withstand water up to one metre for 30 minutes, is encased in anti-shock urethane material and can withstand hot and cold temperatures.
The GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset features a 1.77-inch display, a 1.3-megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a microSD card slot.
Launching in Europe in April 2009, the Xplorer even includes a torch function for those dark rambling nights.
