ShopKami has released a luxury Louis Vuitton version of the Motorola Aura
Published on Mar 17, 2009
ShopKami has launched the latest in luxury cash-ins with its Imobile V453, apparently inspired by Motorola’s Aura and Louis Vuitton.
Motorola’s Aura was certainly not the most beautiful mobile phone but was always reassuringly expensive and unashamedly shiny. But now there’s a knock off version that’s much cheaper and uglier.
Motorola launched Aura to the most discerning of footballers and hip-hop moguls back in October for £1370 ($1924/€1481). But now the Imobile will set you back just over $100 (£71/€77) and allow you to look more like a football WAG at the same time.
Even some of the features are the same as the Aura – the V453 features the same MP3 support, 1.5-inch circular LCD screen and rear-mounted camera. But the phone has been downgraded from quad-band GSM/GPRS/Edge to two GSM bands.
And of course, every surface is embossed with the LV logo, just in case you or anyone around you has any doubts as to who inspired your phone or just how flash you are.
