Unidata has officially unveiled a conference-calling centric handset with onboard Wi-Fi at CeBIT 09.
The main feature of the SQ-3000 is that it comes packing high resolution video support, which translates as roughly 30fps video recording and playback.
To help make those conference calling capabilities as efficient and crisp as possible it also supports the wide-band G.722.2 audio codec.
The Unidata SQ-300 features a reasonably generous 2.8-inch touchscreen WQVGA display, and Wi-Fi support on board too and the Korean manufacturers are claiming a battery life of 3 hours continuous video calling or 6 hours of voice calls.
No news on release dates or pricing just yet but there's hope of seeing it on our shores as on the official press release Director Sang-gyu Park says “We hope to find partners abroad with the British partner 'Siracom' during the exhibit.”
We'll let you know of any developments concerning this conference calling specialist as we get them.
