Microsoft DOS and Windows 3.1 are relics from the past, but if you've had enough of Vista, you can get these old operating systems on your Nokia S60 Symbian phone

Most people are probably glad to have gotten rid of the ancient DOS and Windows 3.1 operating systems, if they remember them at all. However, there are probably some for whom the idea of getting DOS on a phone will create pangs of excitement.
The long-running Dosbox project, which has already been ported over to a great many formats, has made its way onto S60 Symbian. Delving into the forums that are enthusing about this latest news, many users are most excited about getting the chance to play their favourite DOS games of old, but there's a whole treasure trove of retro experiences to be had.
You can even use it to get Windows 3.1 installed. A polish site has screenshots of it running on an N95.
Considering that the phones that'll be able to run the software effectively are going to feature-rich handsets themselves, S60 Dosbox is probably only going to be useful for indulging in nostalgia, but for the real retro tech geeks out there, check out this forum thread for more details.
