MWC 09: T-Mobile launches new web'n'walk collaboration with Nokia

T-Mobile has revealed it will be launching a new version of Web'n'Walk including an integrated partnership with Nokia

T-Mobile has announced it will introduce a new version of its Web 'n' Walk internet service.
The new version of Web'n'Walk announced today will include widgets linking to popular applications such as Facebook and MySpace.
Nokia users will be able to access both T-Mobile's widget gallery and Nokia's Ovi Store directly from the idle screen of their handset.
The integrated marketplace will launch on Nokia Series 40 ranges in the second half of 2009.
Whilst the world may have been facing recession last year, T-Mobile managed to increase its data traffic by a third. New subscribers to web'n'walk grew by 53 er cent to a total of 5.9million users.
T-Mobile also announced exclusive handsets including the T-Mobile MDA Compact, T-Mobile Vario Touch and T-Mobile MDA Vario V, as well as the new LG GT 500. The company will also be continuing their partnership with Samsung with new models planned, as well as the Nokia 1662 on prepaid.
