Sony Ericsson W395 and C903 unveiled

Sony Ericsson has released information on the C903 and W395

Published on Feb 10, 2009

Sony Ericsson has released information on two of its upcoming handsets, the W395 and C903, from the Walkman and Cyber-Shot ranges.

The C903 offers a 5-megapixel camera and, thanks to the TV-out, you can view your photos on something larger than the phone's 2.4-inch TFT screen. It also includes Face and even Smile detection technology to help make the most of your pics. Thanks to the aGPS, you can also tag your photos with information on where you took them.

The W395 is a lower end device, aimed at the youth market or those looking for a budget phone. It features a relatively low resolution 176x220 screen and a 2MP camera, but the 12 hour 30 minutes battery life when playing music makes it a viable alternative to an MP3 player.

The latter is available first, due for release in Q1, while the C903 won't be available until Q2 2009.
