Nokia Carbon Arte gets the Royal treatment

Nokia has released 50 limited edition Carbon Arte Nokia handsets adorned with platinum and diamonds

Nokia has released a limited number of Goldstriker-customised Carbon Arte Nokia handsets, which will go on sale soon in France under the moniker of the Royal.
The Nokia Royal started life as the 'standard' Carbon Arte but for the Royal the carbon-fibre covers have been replaced with solid platinum sheets secured with, yes you guessed it, solid platinum screws.
It's impossible to ignore the amount of glitz coming off the Royal, and with 1160 cut diamonds encrusting the case that's hardly surprising!
Just in case that wasn't quite enough bling-for-your-buck, it comes with a luxurious leather and granite box.
The family run Liverpool-based Goldstriker is the latest company to have produced a dazzling custom edition of a standard handset and with the Royal, Goldstriker hasn't held much back.
With no pricing information stated we'd expect it to be rather a lot to say the least.
Pocket-Lint is reporting the handset as going on sale at the Colette store in Paris soon.
