BlackBerry Storefront inviting developer submissions

The BlackBerry marketplace is now inviting developer submissions on its North American website

BlackBerry has broadcasted a message on its website, inviting developer submissions to the BlackBerry Application Storefront.
RIM hopes that the Storefront will provide access for consumers and business users to a wealth of apps in much the same way as the popular iPhone service.
If successful, the marketplace should in theory create a win-win situation giving consumers a wide range of apps to choose from and developers an audience of millions of BlackBerry users.
Submitted apps will be carefully vetted and if accepted will be subject to the terms and conditions of the BlackBerry Storefront.
Interestingly it seems that when the store does go live each network will retain the ability to block apps from appearing that they don't want their customers to use.
If you fancy yourself as a budding developer, jump on over to the North American BlackBerry developers site to find out more information.
