Vodafone to get Palm Pre?

An administrator from the UK Vodafone forum has leaked that the upcoming Palm Pre could be joining the ranks of the Berkshire based network operator in the near future.

The post on the official UK Vodafone forums says “That phone [the Pre] does look awesome, we were taking a look at this in the office the other day, and a few of us have our eye on it, I would keep your eyes peeled on the coming soon section here at our online shop.“

The eagerly awaited Palm Pre looks set to come with a 3.1-inch multi-touch display and a sliding QWERTY keyboard as well as the newly developed webOS operating system.

There's no official word as yet on pricing or announcements of UK carriers but one thing is for sure, with Palm's stock value rising 150% for some investors, this is the most highly anticipated Palm handset for a long time.
