The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic will ship with a sliding QWERTY keyboard when it launches in April

First sightings of the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic phone have revealed that it packs a slide out QWERTY keyboard into its candy bar shaped form factor.
Spies over at Russian site Mobile-Review have previewed the previously unannounced member of the XpressMusic range, the Nokia 5730, and have managed to reveal some of the proposed specs of the music-oriented handset.
The phone will apparently sport a 2-inch QVGA display alongside GPS, Wi-Fi and a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
The handset reportedly runs on a tweaked version of the Nokia S60 OS that is also complemented by a handful of other special features.
Quite why Nokia has decided to include a QWERTY keyboard on an XpressMusic device is a little beyond us but if you're intrigued you can investigate for yourself in April when it is set to launch in European markets for around €220.
