LG reveals it will be following Motorola by producing noise cancellation technology

Published on Jan 8, 2009

LG has revealed it is teaming up with a music producer to develop noise cancellation technology for its handsets.

LG and music producer Mark Levinson are combining efforts in an attempt to develop noise cancellation technology for LG’s mobile phones.

If successful, the tech will guarantee voices will remain crystal clear while background noise such as traffic and crowds are virtually inaudible.

Such a development would certainly up the ante in the standards of audio we can expect from any future mobile phones.

However, Motorola has already launched its first noise cancellation tech called CrystalTalk five months ago, so the technology isn’t exactly a revelation.

No exact release has been announced by LG, but they expect it to be ready for adding to handsets during 2009.
