Sony Ericsson has exposed the W715 Walkman with GPS and Vodafone's Find&Go preloaded
Published on Jan 8, 2009
Sony Ericsson has revealed its latest creation – the Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman phone, complete with an innovative dedicated key for easy map access.
The W715 will be exclusive to Vodafone customers, which will feature GPS and Vodafone Find&Go, as well as available connection to Vodafone Music services; Vodafone’s answer to iTunes.
Sony Ericsson has specifically focused on local navigation with the GPS, including local restaurant, hotel and shopping centre locations, all of which will be just a few clicks away through the designated button.
Of course, Sony Ericsson hasn’t forgotten the focus of the Walkman range; the W715 will apparently feature 'exceptional sound quality', and a shake control feature that allows tracks to be skipped simply by shaking the phone.
Among other features that are included are TrackID; a music recognition feature, SenseMe, which somehow figures out what mood you’re in by what music you are listening to, a 3.2 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Delivered in a sturdy brushed metal casing available in either black or silver, Vodafone customers can expect the release of the Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman phone later this year.
