OPC 2008: Orange appeals for mobile widgets on its Djinngo platform

Orange is launching a new widget platform called Djinngo and is appealing for developers to produce a widget for the Times Online.

Djinngo joins Orange's other three platforms; SoundTribes for the promotion of unsigned music, Whose Gaming for gaming and Pikeo, a photo sharing service.

Djinngo also features a gallery where you can download apps for your mobile, including Live Radio and Weather Checker.

Collaborating with the Times Online, Orange is appealing for developers to produce a widget to communicate the Times Online's content for Djinngo.

Full details of the competition will be revealed in 2009, but prizes will include the chance to get your widget listed on Djinngo, laptops and mobile phones.
