DAB to hit Nokia smartphones
Nokia has pledged to bring DAB radio to its mobile range when the market is ready

Nokia has revealed plans to install DAB radio functions to its range of Series 60 smartphones.
The Finnish phone manufacturer refused to comment on a timeframe for the introduction of DAB radio into it’s handsets but did say that when “[the] market has reached mass adoption we will consider putting DAB radios in our phones.”
S60 Nokia owners will already know that the Nokia Internet Radio app allows access to internet radio stations across both 3G and WiFi.
DAB radio on the other hand would provide better sound quality and a far wider range of stations from which to choose.
Keep your eyes peeled, but from the sounds of Nokia we wouldn’t hold your breath just yet.
