O2 teams up with Napster for music download service
O2 has joined forced with Napster for a music download service offering over 5 million tracks and dual downloads to both a mobile and PC
O2 has teamed up with Napster to launch a new digital music download service on O2 Active.
The O2 Napster service will offer its customers a catalogue of over 5 million tracks, plus dual delivery of purchased songs to both mobile phone over the air and to a user's PC via email.
Songs will be priced at 99p each, or 5 for £4. The service, accessible via the O2 Active mobile internet portal, will be initially be compatible with over 30 handsets.
Users of the O2 Napster service will have access to the largest number of downloadable tracks available from any UK mobile network music service. As well as an extensive back catalogue of music, customers will have access to the latest releases, with information on artists and imagery to go with tracks sent to both mobile phones and PCs.
