Nokia has released new firmware updates for the E66 and E71, delivering performance and feature improvements

New firmware updates for the Nokia E66 and E71 have been made available, giving the Eseries Symbian S60 smartphones a performance boost, and delivering improvements and updates to some applications and features. An update for the Nokia E51 is also imminent, according to reports.

The updates include new versions of Mail for Exchange and Nokia Maps, camera viewfinder orientation, Mail for Exchange synchronisation and browsing.

Users can update their E66 or E71 with the new firmware by using Nokia Software Updater on their PC or via PC Suite software.
