It seems that the credit crunch hasn't slowed down announcements of the next crop of luxury mobiles set to hit the market, between the Aura, the F9402 and the Arte range we'd be hard pushed to see just how many more mega-expensive handsets that we can handle.

Now Vertu has annouced a partnership with Ferrari to bring three new super-pricey handsets to the market.

With an undoubtedly masculine appearance and featuring the same leather and stitiching as the latest Ferrari interiors each model comes with its own variations.

The Ascent Ti range will come with black, red or yellow leather depending on which model you choose and each of them comes complete with a titanium casing and a sapphire crystal screen.

Given that they are Vertu, and therefore more exclusive than the average handset , they do have a couple of features that you won't find on a more mainstream phone. For example, each one comes with the Vertu Fortress system for backing up contact and calendar information to a secure server in an ex-military bunker.

Also present on these handsets is a Vertu Concierge service button, which according to the website it is "your technical expert, lifestyle assistant and personal shopper".
