We've been struggling to get our hands on an HTC Touch HD for review, but new rumours suggest that this could be because the handset will run on Android rather than Windows Mobile as earlier suggested.

Anonymous sources contacted blogsite PhoneDog to leak information regarding the possibility.

The HTC Touch HD certainly has a better specification than the T-Mobile G1, with a super high resolution screen (WVGA), 5-megapixel camera and 3.5mm audio jack.
