GetJar partners with 3 Mobile to create app store
For those who won't be able to benefit from the thousands of free apps on Android Market or the Apple App Store, 3 has partnered with independent app store GetJar
GetJar has always been a big player in the applications download market, but now it's partnering with 3 Mobile to offer loads of free mobile applications.
There are already more than10,000 free applications available for anyone with a Java, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Palm, BlackBerry, or Flash Lite-compatible phone, and 3 customers will now be able to access them for free.
The applications will feature some of the most popular out there at the moment, including Google Maps for Mobile, Yahoo!Go, Nimbuzz, eBuddy, MIG33, and MyWaves.
