LG battles to be the first manufacturer to go 3G PC
LG is the first handset manufacturer to launch a mini 3G enabled laptop with the Netbook X110
LG has launched the Netbook X110; a tiny laptop that you can apparently take everywhere. It's about the same size as Asus' EeePC range, and has been designed mainly for communication rather than for writing documents.
The LG Netbook X110 features WiFi, Ethernet and 3G for fast connectivity, plus it has 80GB of on-board memory, a WSVGA 10-inch widescreen and an 82-key full-size keyboard to make typing easier and more accurate.
One improvement for future devices would be to install an HSDPA datacard inside the device so it is even faster and makes full use of mobile connectivity.
The LG Netbook X110 will be available in late October at an as yet unannounced price.
