Nokia has announced the newest 8800 handset, the Carbon Arte, which has been designed to look ultra sleek but not scrimp on features.
Apparently the 8800 Carbon Arte has been inspired by architecture, sports cars and aerospace, with a very LG Secret-like carbon fibre panel on the front and an anti-fingerprint coating on the stainless steel and glass finish.
Feature-wise, the 8800 Carbon Arte has seen a number of upgrades compared to the previous 8800 Sirocco including 3G, an impressive 4GB flash drive, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and a stunning OLED display.
There are also a number of other handy features onboard including tap-for-time which brings up the clock on the homescreen when the stainless steel surface below the screen is tapped twice, and a turn-to-mute mechanism which silences the ringtone when the handset is turned over onto its screen.
It's not just the phone itself that will have you salivating; the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte also comes boxed with a whole selection of accessories including a Bluetooth touch-sensitive volume control headset, a desk stand and a leather carrying case.
The 8800 Carbon Arte will be available in the third quarter of 2008 at a pretty hefty price of £870 SIM free.
