How does RIM’s BlackBerry 10-powered Z10 handset shape up against Apple’s iPhone 5?

Yet another video showcasing BlackBerry 10 and RIM’s brand new flagship handset, the Z10, has appeared online, showing what we can expect from RIM at the end of the month and how it stacks up against Apple’s iPhone 5.

The video is pretty extensive, covering messaging, notifications, email, browsing, multitasking, and how BlackBerry 10’s voice assistant performs next to Apple’s first-out-the-blocks-but-somewhat-disappointing Siri.

BlackBerry 10 has not yet been certified as final by RIM, meaning what we’re seeing here is still test-grade software. Nevertheless it does look pretty slick, so we’d imagine this is pretty much what we’ll be seeing come January 30.

We’ve heard plenty of reports about the size of the Z10’s display, which is said to be 4.2-inches. Looking at the video, that figure would appear to be correct. The Z10’s display is slightly longer and slightly wider (corner-to-corner).

All in the Z10 makes a seriously good impression. The hardware looks great, as does the software. No wonder networks and retailers across the globe are positively frothing at the mouth about BB10.
