BlackBerry Z10 specs leak
Specs reportedly belonging to RIM's upcoming BlackBerry Z10 have leaked online
News of BlackBerry’s upcoming line of devices and has been flowing thick and fast of late and today brings with it some more key information about one of the new devices that users can expect to see in late January, when the touchscreen-only Z10 launches.
According to BBin, the sub-continent’s foremost authority on all things ‘Berry, the device will launch with a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 2GB RAM and a 4.2-inch screen running at 1280 x768, which is a promising spec considering what the BB’s of old were imbued with.
The Z10 will also reportedly feature an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facer, a slot for micro SD cards and either 16 or 32GB of on-board space, depending on your budget.
Oh, and if you were concerned about connectivity you needn’t be because the device will also feature quad-band LTE!
In addition to these much improved stats users can expect to find an 1800mAh removable battery – which will make a pleasant change in the world of non-removable cells in which we now find ourselves, and the (now) requisite NFC, A-GPS, Micro USB and Micro HDMI-out which, when added all together, make for one heck of a rejuvenated BlackBerry.
With effusive praise already being heaped on RIM’s new BB10 OS (which will launch on January 30th), the dawn could well be coming for the Canadian manufacturer – but only if the public prove willing to down their iPhones and Androids and flock back to ‘Berry in a big way, and only time will tell if that is ever going to happen.
