BlackBerry 10 features built-in picture editor

BlackBerry 10's camera and built-in picture editor has been demonstrated at the platform launch event.

As well as the face-picker we've seen previewed before which allows you to select the 'best face' from a series of shots, the platform also has a built-in editor, similar to Android 4.2.

This has an intuitve user interface and supports plenty of typically used tools such as free transform and crop. It's easily accessible straight from pictures you've just taken, or you can load pictures from your gallery straight into it.

BlackBerry 10 also includes something called 'Story Maker' which allows you to combine pictures, music and video into small stories for sharing. It's kind of like slide-shows 2.0.
