Apple’s iPhone 5s and 5c will soon be available from January on the world’s largest network, China Mobile

This is BIG. Apple has secured a deal which will see its iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c made available on the world’s largest network, China Mobile.

The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available on China Mobile from January 17. The network, which recently launched LTE services, currently has around 750 million users.

Analysts predict huge iPhone sales in the region next year. Conservative estimates suggest 10 million additional sales, while more bullish predictions say 24 million. Either way – the deal will give Apple's iPhone business a huge boost in the New Year.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said: "Apple has enormous respect for China Mobile and we are excited to begin working together. China is an extremely important market for Apple and our partnership with China Mobile presents us the opportunity to bring iPhone to the customers of the world's largest network."

Being available on the world’s largest mobile phone carrier is of course going to bring with it a huge boost in sales for Apple. Previously iPhone handsets were only available to those on China Telecom and China Unicom and both services only offer 3G connectivity.
